A stomach ache and a dream

The Celiac Chronicle was founded by Stephanie Lavaggi, a diagnosed Celiac who was sick & tired of putting in so much time, work, effort & energy to simply existing in this world. After one-too many “glutenings”, she woke up with a stomach ache & an idea: create a resource hub for her community to feel a little less alone (& exhausted).

Why? Because the lucky ones without dietary intolerances, allergies & autoimmune diseases will never understand the physical, emotional & mental load these take on our day to day lives. We exist with a constant fear of one misstep that could cost us our travel, work, day plans or worse.

Consider The Celiac Chronicle your gluten-free guide to navigating the world of food hellbent on taking us down. Our chronicle will feature:

  • subscription-based Substack articles

  • email newsletter sends

  • global city food guides (interactive Google Maps)

  • gluten free product recommendations (food, beauty & beyond)

  • IRL experiences in pop-up cities

  • social community engagement events

  • partnerships with restaurants, influencers & brands

  • “the sh*t list” of places notorious for glutenings

  • community engagement opportunities

+ more!

All gluten-haters & celiacs are welcome here.

Decorative floral still life with ornate silver and gold vessels, pastries, and overlaid text reading “Tinder and Butter.”

Everyone intolerant to the B.S. (aka gluten) can eat at our table.

What city guides do you want to see next? What are your favorite gf-friendly restaurant recs? What places have “glutened” you that need to be added to the Sh*t List? Let’s talk.
